ITHACA, NY (CortacaToday) – A 20-year-old is accused of rape at Cornell University.

Cornell Police responded to a reported sexual assault at a residence hall that allegedly occurred in the early morning hours of September 1, 2024. Following an investigation by Cornell PD and the Tompkins County District Attorney’s Office, Bilguun Enkhbayar, of Ithaca, was indicted by a Tompkins County grand jury on charges of rape and burglary. He was arrested on September 12, 2024, and arraigned the next day.

Enkhbayar is currently in Tompkins County Jail without bail. He is scheduled to appear in court on October 15, 2024.
