ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) — Ithaca College is heading to the ‘big game.’
Eight students from the Park School of Communications and eight from the School of Business will get first-hand education in live televised sports at Super Bowl 60 in California. The media students are working on radio row conducting video and audio interviews.
“This opportunity is really gratifying in terms of understanding how our alumni and peers view us as students,” junior Devon Jarvis, a television and digital media production major said. “It’s incredibly humbling to be chosen, and while the week itself will be amazing, the lasting impact will come from the connections we make and the opportunities that grow from them.”
According to a statement from IC, the 8 business students “will work across those adjacent events, gaining hands-on exposure to the scope and complexity of professional sports operations.”
The Patriots clash with the Seahawks on Sunday night.
