ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) — The City of Ithaca is receiving $100,000.

The money is coming from the Town of Ithaca to benefit facilities at Cass Park and Stewart Park. In exchange, town residents will get discounts on recreational programs.

Ithaca’s Town Board unanimously approved the deal on Monday. Town Supervisor Rod Howe said the agreement sees approval “every year.”
