CINCINNATUS, N.Y. (WHCU) — A verdict has been reached after a fatal hit-and-run in Cincinnatus.
37-year-old Amber Suprunchik, of Doldgeville, was convicted last week of killing a cyclist and leaving the scene. The collision happened in June of 2021 on Route 26.
The Cortland Standard reports the jury rejected the defense’s argument that a medical condition was behind the crash.
67-year-old Kitt Warren, of DeRuyter, was killed. Another cyclist was injured.
