ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) — A winter weather advisory has been issued for the Southern Tier. 

The National Weather Service says a wintry mix is on the way and could dump several inches of snow and sleet. Ice accumulations are also anticipated. The advisory goes into effect starting today at four o’clock through one o’clock tomorrow afternoon.
