ITHACA, NY (WHCU) — The Ithaca City School District seeks new vehicles.
For the second month in a row, a vehicle purchase proposition will appear on the district’s budget ballot. Superintendent Luvelle Brown tells us a recent EPA rebate is helpful.
Brown says the $800,000 rebate will defray the costs of buying two electric buses. Ithaca’s school budget re-vote is Tuesday from noon to nine o’clock.
