VARNA, N.Y. (WHCU) — A sewer rehabilitation project in Varna is now taking place.

Dryden town officials say the weeks-long project, which began Monday, will use a method called cured-in-place pipelining that will provide a new, joint-less sewer pipe connection in the hamlet that minimizes root and water infiltration problems and improves flow.

The project, which is scheduled until January 23, will interrupt service for one day.
