ULYSSES, N.Y. (WHCU) — One Tomkins County town is updating its email policy.

Ulysses aims to improve its file retention and cyber security. Town Supervisor Katelin Olson says elected officials will have their email addresses standardized.

“Town board members will be provided an email address by name, staff will be provided an email address by either position or name, and committee chairs will be provided an email address by committee name,” she says.

Olson adds the idea is to have consistency.
