ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) — A contender for Ithaca city manager has pulled his name.

The Ithaca Voice reports Nicholas Coates withdrew from contention after accepting a job closer to home in New Hampshire. The two other finalists, Delancia Browning of Baltimore and Deb Mohlenhoff, who is currently the chief of staff in Ithaca, will be interviewed separately by the Common Council.

Those meetings were initially scheduled for today, tomorrow, and Monday, but the city has not released an adjusted schedule.
