TRUMANSBURG, N.Y. (WHCU) — An update on the sale of Camp Barton is being made next week in Trumansburg.

Officials in the village and the towns of Covert and Ulysses will offer information to the public on the Boy Scout’s sale of the property to New York State. The trio formed a development corporation and will oversee management of Camp Barton once the sale is complete.

The meeting is being held next Wednesday night, October 25, at Trumansburg Village Hall.

In September, Trumansburg Mayor Rordan Hart told WHCU the sale was ‘almost complete.’
