LOCKE, N.Y. (WHCU) – A Cayuga County crash involving a truck and a horse and carriage remains under investigation.

State Police say it happened around 8 a.m. Tuesday in Locke. A 2023 Ford F-150 driven by 30-year-old Nosakhere Griggs, of Buffalo, was traveling east on Route 90 when it struck a horse and carriage. All three occupants of the horse and carriage were taken to a hospital.

The operator of the horse and carriage, a 13-year-old boy, and an 11-year-old female passenger were treated for minor injuries. The third passenger, a 9-year-old boy, was treated for severe injuries. Griggs was uninjured.
