ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) – Roadwork will affect traffic in Ithaca.

Crews have begun a repaving project in the 500 to 1000 block of Giles Street, which is the section of the road from Water Street to East State Street. The road will be closed temporarily during milling and reduced to one lane traffic during paving. City officials estimate the work will finish on May 19, 2023, and there will be some traffic delays during paving.
