ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) — People in the Town of Ithaca can soon weigh in on the 2024 budget proposal.

A public hearing happens on October 16.

Town Supervisor Rod Howe says crafting the budget takes a lot of thought.

“It’s an art, putting together the budget,” he says.

The town plans to spend around $30 million next year.
