ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) — Tompkins County is still collecting applications for opioid settlement money.

Frank Kruppa at the Tompkins County Whole Health Department tells WHCU the county’s Opioid Task Force will review applications in July.

Non-profit groups in Tompkins County that are interested in a piece of the 700-thousand-dollars in grant funding to address the opioid crisis have another eight days to submit an application.

Kruppa says it will take a while to review all the applications before final decisions are made.

The deadline to apply is June 30. Find the application and additional information here.
