Tompkins County could see $50K cut from rabies program

ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) — Tompkins County could see less funding for its rabies program.

Whole Health Commissioner Frank Kruppa says state lawmakers are reviewing the potential slash.

“It would be about a $50,000 cut,” he says.

Kruppa adds the county would still provide rabies coverage, but funding would be taken from somewhere else.
