ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) — Libraries across the Southern Tier are getting some money.

State Senator Lea Webb announced recently $36,000 to support 18 different libraries. Webb says each library will receive $2,000 to expand programming, buy essential supplies, and invest in technology upgrades.

Among the libraries receiving some money are the Tompkins County Public Library in Ithaca, and libraries in Lansing, Newfield, McGraw, Marathon, Dryden, Ulysses, and Cortland.
