OWEGO, N.Y. (WHCU) — Two meetings are being held next week in Tioga County about the 2024 draft hazard mitigation plan.

Both sessions will be done virtually next Tuesday. County officials say the plan identifies natural hazards and evaluates risks to people and property. Tioga County’s current hazard mitigation plan was created in 2018 and expires in August.

The first virtual meeting next Tuesday starts at noon, followed by the second at five o’clock.
