OWEGO, N.Y. (WHCU) — Narcan is getting credit for putting a dent in the opioid epidemic.
Lori Morgan, who works in Tioga County’s Department of Mental Hygiene, tells WHCU Narcan has become widely available.
Between January 30 and February 2, Tioga County officials reported a spike in opioid overdoses. None were fatal, and Narcan was used each time.
