OWEGO, N.Y. (WHCU) — In Tioga County, there’s still a lot of work left to do on a countywide 911 radio tower project. 

Legislative Chair Martha Sauerbrey tells WHCU the project is a ‘major focus’ for her in 2024.

Sauerbrey says she expects a lot of building work this year. Certain parts of Tioga County have zero or very little radio service.
