ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) — The Tompkins County Sheriff’s Office is still hard at work on creating an online data dashboard.

Sheriff Derek Osborne listed that as a goal for 2024 Thursday on Ithaca’s Morning News.

Osborne calls the dash a work in progress. Meantime, some information is almost ready for release.

CARE is the Crisis Alternative Response and Engagement team, which pairs deputies with mental health clinicians. That information will be included in the larger dashboard, which Osborne hopes will be ready before the end of the year.
