ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) — TCAT is involved in a plan to bring sustainable transportation to disadvantaged neighborhoods in Ithaca.
The Ithaca Electric Transportation Access project kicks off later this month with an information session. Under the proposed plan, electric transportation would be provided in Ithaca’s West End, West Hill, and the Ithaca Flats. Electric buses, electric carshares, and electric bike sharing are all part of the proposal.
It’s funded through a seven-million-dollar grant through the New York Clean Transportation Prices program.
Information will be shared Tuesday, May 16 at 5:30 at Coltivare.
