DRYDEN, N.Y. (WHCU) — TC3 is hoping to receive more money from Albany.
School President Amy Kremenek says lawmakers are considering supporting the Empire State Community College Workforce Guarantee.
“It’s a $97 million ask to the state, which would then be spread amongst all of the community colleges across the state,” she says.
Kremenek adds the effort would help expand instruction in computer science and healthcare.
“Demands in those programs both for equipment and specialized faculty are great,” she says.
Enrollment at TC3 is up about 13 percent compared to last spring.
