ULYSSES, N.Y. (WHCU) — Ulysses plans to raise its tax levy by about four percent.

Budget Officer Michelle E. Wright believes the increase is reasonable.

“I think Ulysses provides excellent services compared to the rest of the county, and we are — as of 2023 — dead last on our tax rate,” she says.

A public hearing on the budget happens on October 24 at 7 PM at the Town Hall.
