AUBURN, N.Y. (WHCU) — A Syracuse woman is accused of writing bad checks last year in Cayuga County.

In a two-month span late last year, authorities say Anne Jones issued several bad checks at BJs Wholesale on Grant Avenue in the town of Sennett.
Cayuga County Undersheriff Stuart Peenstra tells WHCU that Jones wrote those checks from accounts that were closed.
The Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office first learned of the complaint on November 18.
An arrest warrant had been issued for John, who was arrested on Tuesday. She’s been charged with grand larceny.
