SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WHCU) – The Syracuse Police Department is looking for a wanted man.

WSYR-TV reports (picture included) 26-year-old Justin Hughes has nine active warrants, and 18 previous local arrests. Hughes allegedly beat a woman in January in front of her child, striking her in the face and body multiple times and kicking her while she was down. The attack resulted in bruising, cuts, bite marks, and a partially amputated ring finger. Hughes is a white male, 5′ 7′, weighs 160 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.
