ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) – Bigger musical acts could be coming to Cornell Slope Day in the spring.

The Daily Sun reports the student assembly approved to increase the budget for the end-of-school-year celebration by $400,000. The move comes after some students were disappointed with the lineup last year, which was just the second time since 2004 that none of the performers had a hit on the Billboard charts.

The Slope Day Programming Board will now have $715,000 dollars to spend on the concert.
