ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) — Another day, another weather warning.
The National Weather Service has issued a high wind warning for the Southern Tier. Forecasters say wind gusts up to 50 miles are expected in the next couple days, with higher elevations to see even stronger gusts. The advisory begins at 1 p.m. Tuesday and will remain active until 4 a.m. Wednesday.
