AUBURN, N.Y. (WHCU) – Two Cayuga County men are facing charges after being spotted in a stolen Jeep Cherokee.

On Sunday, August 6, State Troopers at Auburn observed a vehicle that was previously reported stolen at the Waterloo Premium Outlet Mall and conducted a traffic stop.

45-year-old Charles Donato, of Fleming, and 41-year-old Jay Garrigan, of Auburn, are each charged with felony possession of stolen property and an additional misdemeanor for possession of stolen property. The vehicle was returned to its owner, along with a pet dog named ‘Glenn’ that was inside when the vehicle was taken.
