HOMER, N.Y. (WHCU) — A road race from a galaxy far, far away is coming to Cortland County on Saturday.

It’s called the May the 4th Be With You 4K and Wookie Walk. Cortland YMCA Senior Program Director Gina Cusano-McLaughlin tells WHCU participants can get tasty food. 

“Fire Dawgs BBQ, which is a nice barbeque company out of Freeville, will be there serving up some grub for us,” she says.

The event starts at 11 AM on Saturday at Durkee Park in Homer.
