WASHINGTON, D.C. (WHCU) — Senator Kirsten Gillibrand wants service members and their families to be well-fed.
She’s co-sponsoring the Military Family Nutrition Access Act. Gillibrand believes America is too wealthy to have food insecurity.
“In the richest country in the world, no one should have to go hungry,” she says. “Especially our service members.”
The senator also co-sponsors the Military Hunger Prevention Act.
