MARATHON, N.Y. (WHCU) – One person is in serious condition after a high-speed motorcycle crash in Cortland County.

The Marathon Fire Department and Marathon Area Volunteer Ambulance Corps (MAVAC) responded to the crash on Route 11 just after 9:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 12. The injured man was stabilized by three paramedics, a critical care technician, and two EMS-certified firefighters. The man was flown to a regional trauma center with ‘serious injuries.’
