ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) — Lawmakers in Ithaca are working on finding a city manager. In November, voters approved a referendum which will change the structure of government in Ithaca. A city manager will run day-to-day operations and report to the Common Council.
Mayor Laura Lewis tells us they’re in the research stage now.
The search will likely take the rest of 2023, with the position beginning in January 2024.
