ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) – Cook Street in Ithaca is set to close for more than a month.
On Monday crews will begin installing a storm pipe and catch basin between Eddy Street and Blair Street. Cook Street will be closed from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. each day. Local access will be maintained, and sidewalks will not be affected.
Some parking near the work zone will be used for city vehicles. Delays in Collegetown are expected, particularly during winter storms. The project is expected to wrap up on March 22, weather dependent.
