ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) — A public swearing-in ceremony is being held tomorrow for the new mayor of Ithaca. 

Right before the first Common Council meeting of 2024, Mayor-elect Robert Cantelmo will take the oath of office. Cantelmo will deliver his first State of the City address during tomorrow evening’s meeting, which will also feature six new alderpersons. 

Wednesday’s swearing-in ceremony starts at 5 p.m., followed by the Common Council meeting at 6 p.m.
