ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) – The Downtown Ithaca Alliance is asking for public input on bus travel.
Nearly five years after the bus station on Ithaca’s west end closed, planning for an intercity bus hub in the city is underway. Not having a dedicated bus station has led to traffic problems, crowded and chaotic sidewalks, and a poor experience for travelers.
A working group is currently figuring out possible locations, funding, and what amenities should be included. More information is available. They’re asking bus riders to fill out a survey that will help narrow their focus.
