DRYDEN, N.Y. (WHCU) – Dryden residents are invited to weigh in on a proposed renewable energy initiative.
The Neptune Fire Hall, located at 26 North Street, will host NYSERDA for a public hearing about the potential solar energy array project at the site of the former Caswell Landfill on Caswell Road. The 175-acre site was open from 1970-1985 and has 75 acres of buildable property. 
Officials will give information and collect feedback about the build-ready program. It’s happening on Wednesday of next week, April 17, from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.
