CORTLAND, N.Y. (WHCU) — The Cortland County Legislature is rejecting proposed firefighter safety reforms from OSHA, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration. 

Legislative Chair Kevin Fitch tells us a lot of the changes are in training requirements. 

Fitch doesn’t oppose all the changes. 

Legislators unanimously agreed on a resolution asking OSHA for more time.
