PREBLE, NY (WHCU) — A Cortland County town wants to crack down on speeding.
Officials in Preble recently spoke about concerns on Song Lake Road. They say there are no grants available to help monitor speed, and it would cost about $7,000 to buy an electronic sign.
County Chair Kevin Fitch says a lot of road patrol authorities currently respond to thefts at the Cortlandville Walmart.
Preble’s Town Board meets again on Monday night.
