ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) — One man is behind bars after a burglary in Ithaca.

Police say the crime happened late Friday night at the West Village Apartments. 48-year-old Donta Braxton allegedly broke into a home, then had a fight with the resident. Police say Braxton was stabbed during that altercation – the injuries are not life-threatening.

Braxton is charged with burglary and a misdemeanor for endangering the welfare of a child. He’s currently at the Tompkins County Jail with no bail.
