ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) – Part of a road in Ithaca is set to close during work hours for a week.
The 400 block of Dryden Road near Collegetown will be completely blocked off between Elmwood Avenue and Oneida Place for preparation work associated with the construction of the new Ithaca Fire Station. That portion of Dryden Road will be closed from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. each day through next Thursday.
Detours will be in place and some on-street parking along the detour will be affected. Officials say to avoid the area during those hours “whenever possible.”
