ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) – Traffic will be slow-moving in the heart of Cornell’s campus for the next two weeks.

Starting tomorrow, crews will be doing utility work related to the construction of the Ann S. Bowers College of Computing and Information Science (CIS) building which requires a partial closure of Campus Road. Campus Road will be reduced to one lane of alternating traffic from Hoy Road to Garden Avenue. The sidewalk and staircase on the south side of the roadway will be closed to pedestrians. Flaggers will direct traffic. School officials recommend checking TCAT for service updates.

Campus Road is set to reopen fully on September 28.
