CORTLAND, N.Y. (WHCU) — Two Cortland County school resources officers are closer to getting more pay.

On Thursday, the Judiciary & Public Safety Committee approved salary increases for the pair.

Sheriff Mark Helms says one officer is in BOCES and the other is in Marathon.

The county legislature will make the final call on the potential raises.
