FREETOWN, N.Y. (WHCU) – One man is in Cortland County Jail awaiting his day in court.
On Wednesday, June 7, 2023, Cortland County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested 29-year-old Kraig McCombs, of Parish, N.Y., for his alleged role in a criminal mischief complaint that occurred at an earlier date in the Town of Freetown.
McCombs is accused of damaging a victim’s vehicle. Authorities say the Oswego County man smashed the victim’s window out and then rammed his own vehicle into the victim’s vehicle before fleeing the scene.
McCombs is charged with felonies of criminal mischief and reckless endangerment and an additional misdemeanor charge of reckless endangerment. McCombs is being held without bail and will appear in Freetown Town Court at 5:00 p.m. on June 28, 2023.
