ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) — Opioid overdose deaths in Tompkins County have increased since 2012.
Medical Director Doctor William Klepack shared the numbers recently on Ithaca’s Morning News.
Klepack says that’s on par with national trends in the last 10 years.
Last year, Governor Kathy Hochul announced over $8.6 million for the creation of innovative programs to address New York’s opioid epidemic.
