ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) — One person is dead, and another is in stable condition after a drowning Tuesday at Taughannock Falls State Park. 

State Police report a group of four entered a restricted area at the bottom of the falls yesterday afternoon. The man who drowned was identified as 26-year-old Leo Nolasco-Cruz, whose body was recovered by troopers.

Another man, an unnamed 19-year-old, is being treated for water ingestion and hypothermia. The four are all from the Syracuse area.
