UPDATE 1/31: The Syracuse Post-Standard reports State Police responded to the home on Homer Avenue to assist the Cortland County Sheriff’s Office on an eviction call, and there was a man with a gun at the address. Gunfire was exchanged inside the home, and the man was taken to Upstate University Hospital.
CORTLAND, N.Y. (WHCU) — Police are investigating a shooting inside a Cortland home.
Troopers say it happened around one o’clock Monday afternoon on Homer Avenue. Shots were exchanged inside, and one person was injured. Their condition is not available. No officers were injured.
State Police say there’s no danger to the public.
