ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) — A Nobel Prize winner is speaking twice at Ithaca College.

Stanley Whittingham is giving a lecture tomorrow on the limits of lithium batteries and Saturday on renewable energy.
Whittingham won the Nobel Prize in chemistry in 2019 for his work on the development of lithium-ion batteries.
According to IC, he’s a chemistry professor and director of the Institute for Materials Research and the Materials Sciences and Engineering program at Binghamton University.
Both lectures are free and open to the public.
