NEWFIELD, N.Y. (WHCU) — State Police are investigating a fatal crash involving a car and two motorcycles in Newfield.

Troopers say the two Harleys were headed west Thursday night on Millard Hill Road and a Subaru Forester was driving in the opposite direction. One of the motorcycles crossed into the other lane, colliding with the Subaru.

26-year-old Wesley Demming of Newfield, who authorities say smashed into the oncoming Subaru, died at the scene. The operator of the other Harley and the Subaru driver are both being treated for injuries.
