TAYLOR, N.Y. (WHCU) – A Chenango County man is facing charges in Cortland County.

Cortland County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a car accident on Friday in the Town of Taylor. During the investigation, it was found that the driver, 38-year-old Christopher Leonard, of North Pitcher, was driving on a suspended license and had drugs on him. Officers say Leonard also had marijuana plants in the car that were recently stolen from a business in Cortland County. Leonard is charged with felony possession of stolen property and two misdemeanors. He’s being held in Cortland County Jail without bail.

Leonard is due in Taylor Town Court at 5:00 p.m. on October 18.
