ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) – A public training session sponsored by the Tompkins County Department of Emergency Response could be canceled.

Officials say the upcoming Citizen Preparedness Corps Training scheduled for this weekend in Ithaca is in jeopardy because of low enrollment. They’re asking people who are interested to register before Friday. If enough people sign up, the training will happen from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday at the Calvary Baptist Church on North Albany Street in Ithaca.
